What we collect and how it reaches us
There are no accounts on this site, no logins and no payments taken online. Information reaches us three ways.
Both forms are delivered by a third-party form service, FormSubmit, which sends the contents to our office inbox at info@topteamgaragedoor.com. FormSubmit handles the message in transit and may keep a copy under its own terms; we do not store your details on this website's server.
How we use your information
Who sees it, and what we never do
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or lead brokers. The people and services that may see it are limited to the ones below.
Cookies, analytics and links to other sites
The site itself sets no cookies of its own. If Google Analytics is enabled, it sets cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones and to report page views; Google's own privacy policy governs what Google does with that data, and you can block analytics cookies in your browser or with Google's opt-out browser add-on without affecting the site. We do not run advertising pixels. Links to our Google Business Profile, Facebook, LinkedIn, Yelp, the Better Business Bureau and MapQuest take you to sites with their own policies; a review you write on Google is public and governed by Google's terms, not ours.
How long we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it
Job records (the quote, the invoice, the address and the parts installed) are kept for as long as the warranty stated on your invoice runs and as long as Minnesota law requires a contractor to keep them, because they are what we need to honor the warranty and to answer a question about the work years later. Form submissions and emails that do not turn into a job are deleted when they are no longer needed.
You can email info@topteamgaragedoor.com at any time to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will answer in a reasonable time and we will delete what we are not legally required to keep. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we stop, apart from anything needed to complete work you have already approved.
Security, children, and changes to this policy
The site is served over HTTPS, so the forms travel encrypted between your browser and the form service. Email is not a perfectly secure medium, so please do not send card numbers or other financial details by email or in the form notes; a technician takes payment at the door as stated on the invoice. This site is meant for adults arranging work on a home or business, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page; a change that affects how we use information already collected will be explained here before it takes effect.
